POWER DRESSING

Strict suits, broad shoulders, simple lines and minimalist jewelry. Gender boundaries are blurred in the 2021 century, but this style has been developing in the female image for quite a long time. Margaret Thatcher, Hilary Clinton, Jeanne Dubari. In April 1990, Princess Diana appeared publicly in a double-breasted dark blue suit, which was the first time in history that a representative of the royal family appeared at a gala evening in trousers.

The makeup for the first look was as close as possible to the modern “makeup no makeup”.

In the second look, we added a bright accent on the lips and bold, casually lined eyes, personifying the image of an independent woman who is not afraid to look too bold in someone’s eyes. Power dressing today is about freedom and the opportunity to deviate from measured standards. Today’s leader does not worry about the conformity of appearance to the context and expectations of others.

For MOB JOURNAL

For this shoot we chose two looks: a dark, formal and a light, more relaxed, aristocratic, old money look.
